Ever had a point in your life where you wished you were a kid again? I've had those times recently. It felt so good to be that little thing, wanting so much in life, thinking about absolutely zero problems. Everything just felt so light and easy. If there's ever a part in your life where happiness is real and pure, I guess that would be your childhood days, don't you agree?

I bet you dreamed a lot as a kid. I know I did. Unfortunately, I didn't follow my dreams (which I super regret). There was too much pressure and influence around me that made me go the other way. Of course, I also had my share of wrong decisions, letting external factors affect me so easily, hence the regrets. But now that I finally had the chance of changing my life's direction, I decided to grab it. Well, I had second thoughts at first since I was used to doing things that would make other people proud, but then I thought, I should make myself proud first, right? So there's this plan that I will be accomplishing soon. I will be sharing about it to you guys once everything's already set. :) Wish me luck!

You will never find happiness and contentment by proving your worth to other people before making yourself happy first.

P.S. I had this idea of a post because while I did my outfit shots, I really had fun. I felt so free and I played like I was a kid again, dreaming of how beautiful my life could be as I become a full grown adult.

Forever 21: THE GRAND OPENING!

September 27, 2012, Thursday -- SM Lanang Premier Davao City opened to VIP's and tenants. Not all shops were open but those that opened catered people who were invited to join them on their opening events. One event that I attended to was the Forever 21's Fashion show and ribbon cutting event. It was such a great experience for a lot of people, especially to those who are fashion-hungry! There were around a hundred people invited and everyone really dressed up for the cocktail event.

I had such a hard time looking for something to wear at the Forever 21 Event at SM Premier Davao City today! I didn't actually plan on going since I was too busy that I forgot about it and just remembered about the event this morning, so I wasn't able to find ways to get invitations or passes. But then a friend of mine, an F21 Card holder, received an invitation but didn't want to go coz she didn't have anyone to drag to the event. I sent her an SMS about the event and I was actually pretty lucky since she invited me to go. SUPER HAPPY!

I recently got these neon spikes bracelets at a department store recently and I am sooooo itching to wear them so I thought of an outfit that would match them. I also tried to think of wearing something fashionable since this is not just a simple event. It's FOREVER 21! So I chose to wear my F21 top and paired it with a blazer. It kinda looked plain when I looked at myself in the mirror so I added this sequined shorts to the look. I figured that a lot of people would wear heels. I wanted to wear heels, but I was too lazy to walk in them today, and I wanted the comfort of my Solemate flats. I really felt comfy with my outfit today plus there's that taste of sexiness because of my shorts. I felt fashionable and free while walking through the halls of the newest mall in Davao City!

Sexy and Free - the title of this post that I thought of exactly because of the feeling that I have with my outfit. Do you feel it too? :)
