A COMEBACK GIVEAWAY from Blindxx Clothing and TSC!

It has been a while since I sat in front of my lappie to surf the net. I've been really busy working and whenever I get the chance, I just update myself with the latest online news and fashion trends through my phone. So, I AM REALLY SORRY FOR BEING  M.I.A. FOR WEEKS!

Just like me, Blindxx Clothing, a fashion online shop, has been quiet too for some time. And since we were both on hiatus for a while now, here we are, starting off again! And here's a good way to start, a blast for all my lovely readers:
Our COMEBACK GIVEAWAY!

BLINDxx Clothing, even before, never fails to offer up to date clothes and pieces. And now, here's their newest collection:

clan·des·tine  ADJECTIVE: Kept or done in secret, often in order to conceal an illicit or improper purpose.

I have been wondering why they entitled this collection as such. But as I browsed their collection, I realized that each piece has a secret. I love how exciting each piece is because of the cut-outs, deep back cuts, etc. Each simple piece does has its own little surprise. Well, this is how I interpret it.
Here's the official explanation from Blindxx:

"The latest from our brand's cut-and-sew line is out now. It has been 2-3 months delayed but it's finally out. Being the second and last for this year, this collection is like a recital of the young's most favorite trends from the year 2012: pastel, aztec, cut-out, sporty cut, ombre, and peplum rolled into four designs. It is inspired by duality, secrecy, and contradiction.  Spring in winter. Summer in Fall.  Chiffon skirts over sweaters. Dainty spandex dresses underneath trench coats. Pretty girls with secrets. Meek girls with alter egos.  Beauties with inner beasts. I believe in some way some time ago, we have all had ourclandestine."

Lovely, aren't they? But wouldn't it be lovelier to own a piece from this fab collection?
Here's the piece that you could WIN:

FLOUNCY SKIRT IN COSMIC OMBRE

Good luck, Loves!

Plains and Prints

Photos by: Erick Loquez

Top: B&W Vintage || Shorts: Trinkets2keep || Necklace: Butingtings

Just one of my comfortable pair ups. I'm getting addicted to prints and neon colors right now, and this is one of my printed tops that I really like because of the silky fabric. It helps to not make me feel the Philippine heat! Plus, these shorts give the balance in this look. Although prints are really in right now, and it's okay to pair a printed top with a printed bottom, sometimes I just choose to balance a look with a printed top and a plain bottom or vice versa. Just a lazy look, I guess. :)

Just like what I've stated above, I've been addicted to prints and neons. So expect more of those in the next posts! As of this post, i hope you like my outfit. Lemme know about your thoughts! :)

Neons

Photos by: Erick Loquez

Silk & Lace Inner (Sleepwear): Victoria's Secret || Shorts and Outerwear: B&W Vintage || Shoes: Thrifted || Bag: Props Manila

Turning heads with neon colors.

In this look, I wanted to show off the pair of shorts and the pair of shoes that I bought just recently. I believe they match perfectly because of their neon colors. I didn't want to be overly colorful and bright so to balance this look a bit, I picked this silk top, which is actually a sleepwear and this thrifted outerwear (which I super love coz it could pair up with almost every top that I have!!! The print is so lovely!) PLUS I added this electrifying PROPS bag that I recently won in Cheyser Pedregosa's Giveaway. Super lucky, don't you think?!

I've noticed the rise of neons in the world of fashion recently so I really had to try it out!
So what do you think of my mixing and matching? Did you like my look?
Let me know, aight? :)

My Own Pair of Shorts

Artwork Top || DIY Shorts (my old Old Navy's) || Primadonna Booties || Denim outerwear from Gmall || SM Accessories Cross Necklace and Leather bracelets || Excel Paris Volume Uplip Lipstick

If you have read my previous post, well, this is an example of the style I love. This style is so me. :)

Yesterday, I decided to design my own shorts again after almost a year.
And now, here's the finished product!
I'm thinking of making more and selling em in my own online shop (called FADED and TATTERED) where I would also sell make-up (just like that matte lipstick I'm wearing)
I'm actually planning to sell made to order tops and bottoms and make-up, such as MAC.

So, what do you think?
Will you fancy these kind of shorts and make-up?

A Little Twist

Still at home... Please excuse the awkward facial expression.
Photos by Erick Loquez

Top & Robe: B&W Vintage || Leggings: OASAP

This was what i wore last week when we had to sign our notification assignments at work. It's just somewhat like contract signing. The occasion didn't really call for anything formal or whatsoever, but still, I opted to dress up in a corporate attire... but with a twist. I didn't want to look too much like an office girl so I wore this Scarf-print robe and these unique tights from Oasap.com, one of my favorite online shops!

When I saw these tights from Oasap, it was love at first sight! It really has Gelianne all over it! I have that love for edgy outfits and styles (which I will actually share with you in my future posts) just like what trendy girl musicians, rockers and artists wear - black, studs, see-through tops, tattered bottoms... totally rockin! And if you love edgy styles too, or if you simply have a passion for fashion, then OASAP.com is just perfect for you! Go ahead and visit them and I'm sure their collections will remedy your cravings for fashion items.

Fashion isn't all about outfits that show femininity, but also uniqueness and comfort. You may opt to dress-up with a male-inspired outfit but still look fab and sexy. I am not at all a girl who would just sit down and watch games and shows on TV or just shop around and sit to drink coffee in a cafe (I don't have anything against people like that, just to clear things out). Well, I am partly like that, but most of the time, I tend to indulge in sports and music, which may explain why I love edgy styles.

We all have different styles, so just know what you want, dress yourself up, and just by adding self-confidence, I guess nothing will go wrong. Of course, you always should consider the place where you are going :) Just add a little twist if you want to for that additional interest and head-turning effect :)

So how's my outfit? Feel free to let me know your thoughts, aight? :)

Blast in the City!

Again, it's been a week since I blogged :( ... Well, I've been really busy coz it's my first week at work and my friends from Med School in Iloilo came for a visit (for just four days). I was actually really sick those days (of all the days in year!!!), but since I'm their host, I tried to keep them company all the time. I was their driver-slash-tour guide, and boy was it tiring! BUT it was really fun too! :) They arrived last Monday, March 26. Here are some pictures of the things we did and places we went to...

WARNING #1: may cause excessive drooling (haha. gluttons! well, food trips are really best when you're in Davao City, Philippines!)
WARNING #2: I know I said SOME pictures, but this post may be really lengthy because of them heehee. but I hope you'd enjoy viewing! Lemme take you to with us :)
