Back to the Old Days

Top: DIY || Ombre Studded Shorts: Jessica's Closet || Sneakers: Offshore || Necklaces: Tomliz

Ever had a point in your life where you wished you were a kid again? I've had those times recently. It felt so good to be that little thing, wanting so much in life, thinking about absolutely zero problems. Everything just felt so light and easy. If there's ever a part in your life where happiness is real and pure, I guess that would be your childhood days, don't you agree?

I bet you dreamed a lot as a kid. I know I did. Unfortunately, I didn't follow my dreams (which I super regret). There was too much pressure and influence around me that made me go the other way. Of course, I also had my share of wrong decisions, letting external factors affect me so easily, hence the regrets. But now that I finally had the chance of changing my life's direction, I decided to grab it. Well, I had second thoughts at first since I was used to doing things that would make other people proud, but then I thought, I should make myself proud first, right? So there's this plan that I will be accomplishing soon. I will be sharing about it to you guys once everything's already set. :) Wish me luck!

You will never find happiness and contentment by proving your worth to other people before making yourself happy first.

Something I learned in my life. Hope it would help you too :)
Have a great day guys!

P.S. I had this idea of a post because while I did my outfit shots, I really had fun. I felt so free and I played like I was a kid again, dreaming of how beautiful my life could be as I become a full grown adult.

Boodle at Blackbeard's Seafood Island

Last Saturday, it was another day out with the boys. It was actually a food trip night since we ate almost the whole night. The highlight was when we decided to eat at Blackbeard's Seafood Island at Abreeza Mall of Davao. Vik wanted to try out their boodles. It's a boodle fight night! Boodle fight is a military style of eating known here in the Philippines where food are prepared on top of banana leaves and viands and rice are ready to eat using your bare hands. It's actually a fun experience especially when you are with your family and/or friends (and especially when all of you are really REALLY hungry!).

Blackbeard's Seafood Island offers an array of boodles and out of all of them, we chose the one named Mt. Apo, named after the mountain with the highest peak in the Philippines located at our region. Take a look at our boodle below!
(sorry for the poor quality of the photos. I just used my phone)

BEFORE the boodle fight:

JP, Viktor, Gian striking a pose before the "fight"
Erick while eating
Some of the boys had to use plates coz the length of the boodle prepared couldn't reach them. I had fun eating coz I was in front of the boodle. :)

That's Jon Karl with his "Jollibee" look. Weird. This was when the food arrived. haha.

AFTER the boodle fight:
(This is what happens when hungry guys eat. Felt like a storm passed by our table. lol)

It was another fun night with friends. And the best part? This was all Vik and Gian's treat! Nothing beats anything good that's free, right? I believe you can't agree more! haha.

Blackbeard's Seafood Island could be one of your choices if you wanna eat with family and friends. The food may get a lil pricey, but it could be affordable if you share paying with friends. We wanted to try the barkada boodle which was good for 15-20 persons but we opted to try the regular boodles first. It was pretty good. :)

I really had fun and I hope you had fun too while viewing and reading!

By the way, I am sorry for being absent from blogging for a while. It's been really busy at work, but I'm trying my best to update! So keep visiting, aight?

Have a great day, dearies! Hugs and kisses for yah!

Neons

Photos by: Erick Loquez

Silk & Lace Inner (Sleepwear): Victoria's Secret || Shorts and Outerwear: B&W Vintage || Shoes: Thrifted || Bag: Props Manila

Turning heads with neon colors.

In this look, I wanted to show off the pair of shorts and the pair of shoes that I bought just recently. I believe they match perfectly because of their neon colors. I didn't want to be overly colorful and bright so to balance this look a bit, I picked this silk top, which is actually a sleepwear and this thrifted outerwear (which I super love coz it could pair up with almost every top that I have!!! The print is so lovely!) PLUS I added this electrifying PROPS bag that I recently won in Cheyser Pedregosa's Giveaway. Super lucky, don't you think?!

I've noticed the rise of neons in the world of fashion recently so I really had to try it out!
So what do you think of my mixing and matching? Did you like my look?
Let me know, aight? :)

Ombre Indulgence

Ombre Polo Top: Oxygen || Ombre Studded Shorts: Jessica's Closet || Wedges: People are People || Matte Pink/Orange Lipstick: Excel Paris

Just before I start...
I am so sorry for the one week hiatus... Erick's grandfather died last week (God bless his soul) and I really had to help out with everything...

Okay, so about this look:
Gotta love ombre. I even tried to have ombred hair, until I decided to color my hair underneath instead. When I got this pair of shorts from Jessica's Closet, I was so inspired to make my own (which I actually blogged about too. Scroll down to see!).

I wanted a balance in this look. I didn't want too much skin exposed since the shorts are really SHORT. Sometimes, you gotta know how to balance a look so that you would still be a walking doll, turning heads as positive responses. I, personally, am not used to pairing up a pair of shorts with a sleeveless top. I always have a cover up or an outerwear. That's how I balance. I already have long legs. I don't want more skin showing. :)

Fashion isn't just about wearing the latest trends. It's also about smart mixing and matching to get that perfect look you desire.

Thanks for dropping by! Do leave your comments about my look, aight? I highly appreciate em!

Mwah!

My Own Pair of Shorts

Artwork Top || DIY Shorts (my old Old Navy's) || Primadonna Booties || Denim outerwear from Gmall || SM Accessories Cross Necklace and Leather bracelets || Excel Paris Volume Uplip Lipstick

If you have read my previous post, well, this is an example of the style I love. This style is so me. :)

Yesterday, I decided to design my own shorts again after almost a year.
And now, here's the finished product!
I'm thinking of making more and selling em in my own online shop (called FADED and TATTERED) where I would also sell make-up (just like that matte lipstick I'm wearing)
I'm actually planning to sell made to order tops and bottoms and make-up, such as MAC.

So, what do you think?
Will you fancy these kind of shorts and make-up?

Pastel Block

Photos by Erick Loquez

Top: Gmall
Shorts: SOUL Lifestyle
Cardigan (with hoodie): SOUL Lifestyle
Wedges: People Are People

A day of errands. I had to go out to buy some stuff for the decorations of an upcoming event, so I wanted to look relaxed and comfortable. So for this look, I chose to wear relaxing colors - pastel shades. It was pretty hot during the day but the materials of my clothes were just perfect to battle the heat. I wore the wedges, but I actually brought flats just in case I'd feel uncomfortable with the wedges after a while (Emergency kit!). Well, I did end up wearing the flats coz I had to walk three blocks just to get to a store to buy balloons. Late afternoon, it started to rain and this cute outerwear that I got from SOUL Lifestyle, which actually has a hood, served its purpose. Ah. The perfect outfit for this day :)
