Even if it rains...

Photographed by: Hannah Magsayo

Black Asymmetric Top (Sheer back): Never Been Kissed || Black Asymmetric Cardigan: JS || DIY Collar || Pearl Necklace: Mom's || Accessories: Mom's, Tomliz || Croc Skin Bag: Marshall Fields || Bandage Skirt: NCCC || Booties: Primadonna

It was a few weeks ago when Hannah asked me to shoot with her (which was really an honor). Finally, last Saturday, we met and collaborated this shoot. We were pretty much excited about it but unfortunately, the weather didn't actually cooperate well. It was really hot when I was on my way to the location. After a few indoor shoots, we've decided to go outdoors but it rained... HEAVILY. Soooooo, we waited for it to stop, and when it did, we continued the shoot despite the wet and slippery floor.

About the outfit:
This mini dress (which actually turned out to be a top when I wore it due to my height), was given to me by my man. Pretty good pick, right? It's not much clear in the pictures, but the back portion of the dress is sheer, so you can see my skin through it which gives out that sexy feel. I actually thought of pairing this up with a pair of shorts (since I'm more of a shorts person), but I didn't want to look ragged or casual for this, so I wore a bandage skirt instead. Now, that made me feel like a girl woman! The accessories I wore were more of pearls and shiny gems... these hunnies never fail to give me that classy look, and not to mention, my all-time favorite DIY collar (I'm sorry coz I still haven't posted a DIY entry on it!). About the bag, it was purchased at Marshall Fields, a store in the US. I remember this store selling really lovely and classy stuff. This is one of my favorite handbags coz it might look small, but I could actually stuff a lot of things it it. I even have my pair of flats inside! I brought them just in case it would rain coz I don't want my suede booties wet (it did rain, so I wore my flats after this shoot).

So whuddya think of my outfit? I'd be happy to know your comments and insights!

Always be the best that you could in life... even if it rains.

Summer? Not yet. Fun? ALWAYS!

Just yesterday, we went to a resort called Playa Azalea for Janine's Birthday (Erick's classmate and our friend). It's a high class premier beach and residential resort located at the Island Garden City of Samal. The whole place isn't done yet, but despite that, it was really great! The reception area and the cottages were neat and classy, the infinity pool was awesome, but we chose to swim at the beach which was actually pretty fun!

So here are the photos (by the way, this might be my blog entry that has the most photos so far). I guess these photos would really show how much fun we had and how nice the place is.

So we arrived, and the first thing we did was TAKING PICTURES. (yes, we are narcissistic)

We went there by SPEED BOAT. It was somewhat a 5 minute ride from the dock to the resort.

That coconut tree we're sitting on was a favorite spot for taking photos.

With the GIRLS... I think.
JUMP SHOT... never forgotten.

Bestfriend and Boyfriend... COZ THEY'RE MODELS (self-proclaimed haha)
This was supposed to be a cake... IT WAS REALLY HOT!
Ah yes... FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! The grilled pork was really good, i must say.
Birthday girl, Janine

Love this shot that I took of bestfriend Pi Jung

Time to get soaking wet!
There's a vid of us jumping off the highest spot of this area... unfortunately, I don't have it :(

I had the chance to use goggles. The view underwater was lovely! Although there wasn't much color, the view of the corals and the fishes still made my eyes full.

My awkward dive. o_O

Time to go :(
but before that, I took some pictures of the great views around the area.
The place was prettier as the sun set.

Here's that infinity pool I was talking about. Erick and I had to have a photo with it at the background.

The beach...

The sun's about to set.

See that dock/cottage? We jumped off from there while shouting our greetings for the birthday girl. T'was really fun!

I wasn't really planning on showing off what I wore, but oh well, it wouldn't hurt if I share, right? :)

White bikini top and printed shorts: Body Music || White polo: Divisoria || Pink striped sheer top/cover-up: Redhead || Denim faded shorts: No Boundaries || Sunnies1: Guess|| Sunnies2: RayBan (actually Rae's) || Bag: Aeropostale || Slippers: Havaianas Top || Brown Suede Fedora Hat: SM

I guess it's pretty obvious that I really had fun. The place was lovely, the food was great and the company was awesome! PERFECT! :)
You'd really wish that moments like these would never end, right? :)

Aight, so that's it! Hope you had fun viewing and reading, people!
Till the next blog entry!

Spread the Love!

Bouquets, Chocolates, Balloons and all sorts of gifts... those are what filled my eyes during my whole commute to Abreeza Mall yesterday to meet my boyfriend and my friends. Well, I also got a balloon and a rose from my boyfriend when we met which made me smile.

We didn't have that usual sweet and romantic date as a couple on Valentine's Day coz first, he's not that type of guy, and second, we decided to go out as a group which actually turned out well. As we waited for our friends to arrive, we watched a famous band here in the Philippines called MYMP. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take pictures coz we were standing at a distance.

When our friends arrived, we decided to eat first coz we were all starving! Unfortunately, all the restaurants were full so we've decided to eat STREET FOOD (yes, I eat street food, but it depends where. of course, we all should be careful in choosing where to eat)!!! I chose to eat my all time favorite ISAW. For those who do not know what that really is, it's chicken intestines. They're on that plate in front of me. But those aren't all for me to eat! They also have their share. The other viands were gizzard (I think) and pork barbeque. Yum Yum!!!

So after that, we've decided transfer to another place in the city called JACK'S RIDGE RESORT. It's a place located at Shrine Hills, Matina and is one of the famous tourist spots here in Davao City. It's a perfect place to go whether you are alone, with your partner, with your friends and/or family. They have a pool, a restaurant, a coffee shop, and bars. They also have a wide green field if you ought not to eat at their shops. Function Halls are also available for reservations or you could also have overnight stays if you want.
Anyhoo, here are some of the pictures we took when we stayed there:
(By the way, I don't really like using the flash of a cam, but it was too dark and there was no other option. But I hope you'd like viewing these still. Pictures were taken with a small digicam)

I DID mention in my previous posts that my boyfriend's CRAZY, right?
A view of our lovely city, Davao behind us.
Viktor, Erick and Sir Hector, their high school Religion teacher (yes, he's a part of our crazy group)
Another one of Erick's uhhh.... GAY POSES?
Chubby. haha.

Blazer: Mom's | Crocheted Top: JS | Blue Shorts: Victo | Satchel: Coach

This is what I wore on Valentine's Day. I actually wanted to wear that asymmetrical dress that I posted last time, but since I had to commute (since my dad sold my car and the new one didn't arrive yet), I chose to wear something pretty comfy and not over the top. Couldn't wear heels too coz I don't wanna wear them in a jeepney. Oh, well, even if I didn't really "dress up" for the occasion, I still felt that this was okay. It rained too so I'm happy I didn't wear a dress around.

(But I actually had a change of mind the last minute... I was supposed to change my shorts into a pink pair which I bought weeks ago just so I'd have a touch of a Valentine color in my look, but I was already running late and was too lazy to change too)

How about you? How'd your Valentine's Day go? :)
